From the Foreword: "Rev. Larry Hatfield was the unofficial pastor of an entire community, a beloved shepherd of his own flock, an adoring husband, doting father and grandfather, and one of the most Christlike human beings I believe the world has ever been graced to know.
His voice on the radio was, for many, a source of hope, wisdom, encouragement, laughter, and for some, their only introduction to a loving Heavenly Father. In the days and months that have passed since his departure to Heaven, the impact of my daddy’s life continues to be revealed in ways large and small, and I’m humbled, awed and ever so grateful.
It is a great joy for my mother and I to be able to share his words with you, and we have left them intact, as he had prepared them for speaking over the airwaves. It is our prayer that, as you read, you will fondly recall his voice, and even more so, that you will hear the voice of God’s Holy Spirit who was his inspiration. May his life so well lived echo on in our hearts."
“Keep on doing all the things you learned and received and heard from me. Do the things you saw me do. Then the God Who gives peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:9).
Thank you for supporting his memory and ministry!
